AMVAC®, an American Vanguard® Company, is pleased to announce the promotion of Mark Foster to the position of Director of North America Marketing.
In addition to managing the company’s national crops portfolio, Foster will oversee the U.S. marketing team that supports the company’s North American commercial business units and report directly to Mason Bennett, recently appointed AMVAC Vice President, North American Crop. “Mark’s leadership, experience, and strategic vision will undoubtedly propel our marketing efforts to new heights,” Bennett said.
Foster joined AMVAC in October 2021 as Midwest Marketing Manager. Foremost in Foster’s time to date with AMVAC has been the market introduction this growing year of ZALO™ Herbicide enabled by ProLease™ technology, providing excellent postemergence control with multiple modes of action through the active ingredients quizalofop and glufosinate.
Foster has extensive experience in agriculture. A native of Ontario, Canada, where he was raised on a beef cow/calf and row crop farm, he began his career with Monsanto Canada in 1999 as Agronomic Sales Manager. Since then he held various roles within Monsanto / Bayer CropScience in sales, sales management, account management, product management, and promotions.
Foster continues to reside in the St. Louis, MO, area, with his wife Erin and their three children.
